J.T. Garry LLC, DBA Lincoln Storage has been a family owned business since 1954. Our founder John T. Garry started out as a contractor along with used motor vehicle sales on our current location, known as John T. Garry. He excavated the property and erected the main office/garage and pole barns himself with help from his men.
Many housing developments and several commercial buildings were built by him during the 1950’s and 60’s. He also started Whitestone Mobil Village around this time expanding it to a 4 Star 90 plus mobile home park until it was sold in the 1990’s and became “Fox Run”.
In the mid 1960’s we changed from contracting to buying and selling equipment and parts for all makes available at the time. We stayed in this business until the mid 1990’s when sales started to drop. This is when we ventured into the Self-Storage business, erecting our first two buildings in 1997. Since then we have erected a total of twelve buildings encapsulating 357 storage units of various sizes with approval to build six more buildings on site in the future. We also have outside space for renting to RV, Boat and Vehicle owners.
The Lincoln Storage family has been in the community for over 100 years and we have been active in almost all aspects of the community at one point in time or another.
We are the oldest sponsor (over 50 years) of Colonie Little League. We also donate to and support the local emergency services and veteran organizations along with several other charitable organizations.
We are also members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and the New York Self-Storage Association.
